Boomers Trail Masters hike

Join us Tuesday, Mar 21st at 9 am for a hike on the Desoto Nature and the Desoto Spillway Trails.  

We will meet in the parking lot in front of the Lawn Bowling facility - just past the Dog Park and trail head.

 Desoto Nature trail 1.2 miles - Unlike most HSV trails, this is a natural walking path thru the woods and along the Desoto dam.  There are some up and down spots and tree roots to step over.  But for the most part, it is an easy trail.

Desoto Spillway trail 0.8 miles - This is an easy trail.

We will start on the Nature trail, and then walk over to the Spillway trail.  That would be a 2 mile walk.  We will continue back around the Nature trail for a total of 3.2 miles.  If that is too much, you can depart after the Spillway trail.

All Boomers members are welcome to come along!  We do ask that you register so that we know who is coming and who we should notify if there is a weather delay.  If there is a delay, you will receive an email by 7:00 am.
