There will be no food served but you are encouraged to bring your own food and beverages to enjoy. Some members brought small fans for their tables last time we played. To be safe you will be asked to purchase your bingo cards online at registration. We want to limit the handing of cash.

    Guidelines for this event:

    1. We will limit the number of players to 60.

    2. Players will sit two to a table only.

    3. Tables will be set up to allow plenty of social distancing.

    4. You MUST wear a mask when checking in and picking up your bingo cards. You may remove the mask while sitting at your table.

    5. We will have hand sanitizer available.

If you feel you can not comply with these guidelines, please do not register for this event. Our members safety is our first priority.

The cost for this fun evening is $12. This includes 3 bingo cards for use for the evening. We will be using our finger-tip shutter slide bingo cards. All money collected from the purchase of bingo cards will be given back in cash prizes to the winners.

It's that time again to show our support for the Village "Keep HSV Beautiful" committee.  This is an additional clean up day just for the larger village streets.  We will clean up DeSoto Blvd between the west gate and Carmona Rd.  Our continued participation helps maintain our good relationship with the POA and presents a positive image to the community.

We will all meet up in the parking lot in the front of the Desoto Club parking lot at 7:30 am.  Volunteers will be assigned approximately a 1/2 mile section of road to clean up.

Please wear a face mask at the check in area.

We hope to have sufficient volunteers so that people can work in pairs.

We will provide trash bags, high-visibility vests, and bottled water. You should plan to wear work gloves and sturdy shoes/boots.  You will need to bring a stick with a "grabber" on the end or any other tool to use to pick up trash & cigarette butts.  Don't forget the bug spray!

The event should take about an hour.

We are having so much fun playing golf together that this has become a monthly event. Please join us this month for a 9 hole scramble at Cortez. Because of Covid-19, we will be limiting the number of players and following all the health and safety guidelines of the state of Arkansas and the POA. It is great to get out and play golf with our fellow boomers.

Please check in with me and get the rules for this outing when you arrive. I will be outside the pro shop. Please arrive 30 minutes before your tee time. I will publish teams and tee times four days before the event. We will not be serving food or drinks. Prizes will be awarded to the top five teams. Cost of prize fund is $5.

In order to make the teams as fair as possible, you will be asked at registration to provide your average score for 9 holes. We will not be using a GHIN handicap for this event since several players do not use or update the GHIN system. If you must play with your spouse/partner, please let us know. Please provide your POA number. You are responsible for the cost of your golf.
