Singles Connect: Spring Flower Tour at Garvan Gardens

We can expect tulips, daffodils, azaleas, camellias and wildflowers to be in bloom.  Garvan Gardens has several miles of trails, waterfalls, an adventure garden and the spectacular Anthony Chapel.  We will meet for lunch at Café 1217, 1217 Malvern Ave, Hot Springs at 12:30pm.  After lunch it is off to Garvan Gardens.  Admission is $15.00 for non-members, free for members and free for members of the American Horticultural Society or any of 250 other gardens around the country.  After touring the gardens, we will head to Mr. Whiskers, 1538 Malvern Ave, Hot Springs for supper.  Mr. Whiskers is ranked #2 in Trip Advisor for Hot Springs restaurants.  They specialize in catfish, but have several seafood offerings, burgers and ribs as well.  Expect to get back to Hot Springs Village no later than 7:00pm. 

Transportation:  For those that live outside the Village, we will meet for lunch at Café 1217 in Hot Springs at 12:30pm.  For those that wish to carpool, West Enders can meet at the west gate, park at the Visitor Center Parking lot at 12:00pm.  East Enders can meet at the Balboa Pavilion Parking lot next to the Last Chance at 12:00pm and head out the Balboa Gate.  It is roughly a 20- 25 minute drive from either location to Café 1217.
